Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is having a nice relaxing day. Today, I wanted to share with you guys the kitchen we worked on just before Christmas. We got this baby done on Christmas Eve. This client was out of town, and we worked a 15 hour day and a 7 hour day on Christmas Eve to get this done, but we did it. We wanted them to come home to a nice, clean kitchen and enjoy Christmas, and not be in renovations over the holiday. It might of killed us, sickness set us back, but we did it. Hahaha, really though, this kitchen turned out amazing. I wish had better close up on these old cabinets the lowers were pealing and just in bad shape.
Adam refinished the lower cabinets, they took way more work then we were anticipating because of all the water damage on the lower doors. We had to make sure they were sanded, sealed, primed and painted so they would last a long time. Adam also did a trim detail around the island. It gave it a more custom and finished look, then just your typical quarter round that goes where the the cabinets meet the floors. He then built all brand new upper cabinets. I just love the glass detail in the left cabinet that goes from the counter to the ceiling, and the glass on all the upper cabinets. The client moved the microwave to the pantry and had Adam build a custom hood to fit the space. The color they choose was Sand Bar, from Sherman Williams for the cabinets. It went perfect with the black counters.
It is such a dramatic change having cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling. It just makes the space feel so much larger and way more custom. They’re still going to get the back splash finished and add hardware, but the after photo still looks amazing. We are thrilled with how this one turned out. What do you guys think?? Below, are all the before and after photos.

Hope you guys enjoyed seeing this transformation. Love you all.
